Wed.....Usually a full body,....but instead doing Legs and Abs
Since I've been told to lay off my shoulder for the week I decided to make it a leg day and throw in some abs at the end. Haven't done a leg day in a long time and it turned into one hell of a workout. I may regret this during fencing tomorrow!
5min jog to warm up
4 sets single leg walking lunges 10X 0/10lb/15lb/20lb dbs
4 sets leg extensions, single leg 12each side 50/50/60/65 finished last 2 sets with additional 8 double leg
4 sets SL DLS 12X45(bar)/12X65/12X85/8X105
4 sets BB squats 12X45(bar)/12X65/12X95/8X115
3 sets leg curls 12X50/12X60/10X65
Abs: 2 sets incline crunches 15Xbw/15X5lbs/15X5lb oblique, both sides/15X5lb centre--I put the 5lb plate behind my head, first time I've ever done weighted sit ups. We'll see how my abs feel tomorrow, wasn't too difficult, but I certainly felt the burn!!!
Lots of leg stretches to cool down. Very good workout and a nice change from the usual routine. Felt very strong in the legs today as well. Not sure what I'll workout on Friday since I can't do arms, but I'll figure something out, or may just go out for lunch (;
