Wednesdays workout...cardio
Managed to get to the gym after all. Was going to do the ellip, but was in the mood for a run. They have new treadmills at the gym so I decided to try a hills program. I haven't done any "incline" work in a long time due to hip problems, but it went well and I really enjoyed the "variety". I ran at 8.5km, so not sure how that translates in miles. It's funny because even though we are metric and I work in the sciences, so use metric all the time, I still work in MPH when I run , lbs for my weight and ft/inches for hieght . I would guess that it is just over 5mph, which is pretty slow, but was good for my first crack at a hills program...next time I'll crank it to 9 or 10 and see how it goes-I normally run at 6-6.5mph.
I must have had a lot of coffee this morning because that was a lot of words to say I did 30 on the treadmill at 8.5KPH using a hills program (:
