Wednesday....leg day...went heavy, but getting lighter ( ;
Made today a leg day and tried to do heavier weights. Today was also weigh in day and I'm down another 2lbs (all due to really monitoring how much I'm eating and generally eating a lot less) For the first time in over a year I'm really seeing my body lean up--woohoo!!
Todays workout went as follows:
-5min jog on treadmill
-walking single leg lunges: 1st set-hands behind head/2nd set-holding body barbehind head and twisting on lunge/3rd set-body bar at chest and lift on lunge-not sure of the weight of the bar, but it was heavier than the one I used last time. I kind of enjoy these...sure get the HR up!
-BB squats 12Xbar(45lb) 10X95/8X145/6X145
-BB SLDLs 12Xbar(45lbs) 10X65/10X85/8X105
-seated leg curls 12X50/10X60/8X70/5X80
-leg press 12X90/12X180/8X270 (these weren't too bad, but putting the 6 45lb plates on and off is a PITA! and more of a work out than the leg press itself!!)
-standing calf raises 12X100/12X120/12X140
stretch to cool down...worked up a pretty good sweat with this.

eggs/tortilla/salsa
oatmeal
chicken souvlaki,coleslaw,red pepper
oatmeal/protien
not sure what to have for dinner but it'll be protien/vegies most likely.
