Wednesday....Glutton for punishment....
Well, I have to say I'm pretty damn sore today from mondays squats, lunges and Dl's. I'm walking like an old lady and making strange noises every time I stand up. Figured the smart thing to do was to take a rest day...so...I went to the gym and worked my upper body instead...go figure... Here's my workout for today:
3min on treadmill (cut it short because my legs hurt!)
arm circles to warm up my rot cuffs
3X10 pushups
3X8 90/90/90 assist pullups, wide grip (haven't done these in ages)
3X12 20lb single arm B/O rows
SS 3X12 8lb DBs curls and flat bench pec flies
3X10 20lb tricept kickbacks (single arm)
3X10 30lb EZ bar curls
stretch to cool down
It was a good workout and a bit different from my normal routine. I actually feel a little less stiff. Arms are still pretty shaky though...
I'm hoping to go swimming again tonight.
