Wed....got so busy I forgot to fill in my log yesterday!

Let's see if I can remember what I did yesterday....It was a wt day, so I went to the gym, but did a different routine from usual.

5min run on treadmill for warmup
3 sets walking lunges with a torso twist at the bottom and a set of double lunges for the last set.
3X12 sets of pushups (getting good at these...should try elevating my feet next time)
3 sets of SS 12X front raises/lat raises-bent arms/bicept curls with 5lb dbls
Bunch of ab work: reverse crunches with ball between knees, crunches, oblique twist holding ball, V-ups with ball, more reverse crunches. I need to do build my abs so I can do what's called a "roll over" in pilates. I've been doing this move for 2 yrs now, but do not use my abs to do it, I'm using my back muscles instead...so...I'm going to train my abs to do this move properly...I will figure this out...even my daughters can do the move properly and it's pissing me off (;...but I digress.

Good workout...not really a resistance workout, but it was still a good overall workout, really worked up a sweat!

Diet is still going well. I had the challenge of going out last evening to celebrate a big deal my hubby managed to nail. I only had 1 Guinness and then drank soda water the rest of the evening. For dinner we chose to share 2 appetizers, grilled calamari and grilled shrimp, served with a sort of salsa and I didn't touch the bread. Felt quite proud of myself!
