Vacation Over....time to get back to business!!

I feel great after 2 weeks of fun in the sun, but now it's time to pay my dues. I have definetly put on a few pounds, so my first goal is to get that off and then continue to work on my ultimate goal of looking strong and lean. I have to admit that I've spent the last 2 weeks totally out of control, but it's now out of my system (haven't been this bad for a few years (; --but with all the great knowledge ans support from FT, I know I can get to where I'm going.

At the beginning of the year I set myself a goal of weighing 145lbs, 23%BF and doing 1 unassisted pull up. I'm down to 5 months to achieve this, so I better get serious! I also had plans to do a triathlon and I think there is one in Sept that I could do. So...time to get my shit together!

My 8 week goal is to weigh 155lbs--loose what I've put on during the past 8 weeks );--. I will do this by eating clean and adding some new cardio to my routine (biking and sprints) I will continue with my 3 day wt training, but will begin tracking my progress while at the gym.

Todays workout was relatively light just to get myself back into the routine after my 2 week hiatus.

5min walk/run on treadmill
pushups 3X10 -last 2 sets with 1 leg raised
BB squats: 12X45/10X95/10X95
bench press: 12X45/10X50/8X65
cable cross overs: 12X60/12X70/12X80
Lat PD's: 12X60/12X70/10X70
SL DL's: 12X45/12X65/10X75

stretch to cool down.

Have Pilates this evening.

Felt good to be back and I'm psyched to reach my goals!
