Tues..unanticipated rest day....Wed. wts ABS, Chest, Tris
Didn't do my cardio yesterday due to other commitments--sometimes life just gets in the way of my workout routines! Actually, I was getting my daughter ready for her G8 grad (can't believe I have a kid off to high school!)
Back to normal today....did my wt. training routine, all be it a bit shorter than usual. I cut it back a bit because my shoulder and neck are bothering me again-along with my hamstrings. I may need to take a week off to rest things, but we'll see.
It went as follows:
5min warmup on treadmill
pushups: wide/narrow 12,12,12
HS Chest Press: 12*36, 12*36, 10*46, 10*36(had to drop back-couldn't do 46 again)
tri's kick backs: 12*10, 12*10, 10*12, 10*12
incline machine chest press: 12*30, 12*30, 10*35, 10*35
ABS: hanging crunch, lifts, twists 10*each in roation X2 rest between every 10.
Pilates type sit-ups: 8*hinges
stretch to cool down.
Kind of tired today. Really feel out of routine this past week or 2. It's been kind of hectic. The kids start summer vacation tomorrow, so next week should be much easier for me.
I really want to tone up for a trip out West to visit my Sister in Sask. I've got 4 weeks so I better get moving!
