Tuesday...cardio...sprints....thought I was going to die!!

I decided to change my cardio up a bit by adding sprints and shortening my usual 5km steady pace run. The plan was to run at a regular pace for 5min to warm up then do 1min sprint, 2 min reg pace run. I figured I would do this 4 times and then go back to reg pace to cool down. I did manage 4 rounds of sprints, but I was probably closer to 3 min reg pace and 45 sec sprint. It was exhausting and I thought I might pass out at one point, but I was always able to recover after a few minutes. Can't say I enjoyed it while I was doing it, but the endorphins have kicked in and I feel great right now!! So this is going to be Tuesday cardio from now on.

I followed my run with some ab work and tons of stretching.

Feel great....for now....I'll probably tank at about 3pm.
