Thurs...workout with Hubby again
We did the circuit routine from MH again. This time we did 2 exercises in rotation. i suggested 3 sets of 8-12, but he said the mag said to do 2 sets of 15, so of course we did 2 sets of 15. Having him there also gave me a spotter so I could see if i could handle the BB flat bench. I had no problems with it, so it'll come part of my routine. Here's what we did:
warm up on treadmill
2X15 SS HS flat bench, 36lbs//seated cable row,60lb
2X15 SS DL, 45lb BB//WG lat pd, 70lb
2X12 ball pikes
3X10 BB flat bench, 45lb-bar only (I wanted to try these while I had a spotter and it went well) very different from the HS bench!!
Ab work, roman chair,crunches,bridging
Stretch to cool down.
The workout was short compared to what I usually do and I felt a bit short changed...however...I can definitely feel it in my arms! I didn't get in as much lower body work this week as I'd like, so I'll have to try and get some more in next week. I guess fencing tonight will give me a good leg workout, lots of lunging involved! Hubby's doing well, I think he'll stick with it at least for the 6 weeks leading up to our trip to Tobago.
As a side note....I forgot to add in an earlier log that I shot a 93 last Friday (yes that was for 18 holes)--WooHoo...going to try again tomorrow! My goal is to consistantly break 100 this year, so I'm off to a great start!
