Thursday...worked really hard, but felt "frumpy" today
I actually had a really good workout today...even beat my last cardio challenge in 15min...but, there were a bunch of young female hardbodies at the gym today (must be something going on, cause they were all gorgeous) and I have to admit it made me feel kind of old and frumpy ); Oh well, can't turn back the clock, so I'll just keep doin what I'm doin and be happy with who I am--but god they were gorgeous, and strong! There were lots of young (and old) men preaning as well...wonder why (;
Anyhoo, here's what went down today...
arm circles to warm up my shoulders
4 sets cable rows 12X50/12X60/12X70/10X80
3 sets wide lat pull ups-assisted all aprox 70lb 12/10/10 all the pull up cables were being used-by those damn good looking women--so I did these instead.
3 sets shrugs 12X25b dbls
3 sets hyperextension 12Xno wt/10X10lb/8X10lb
3 sets incline db curls 12/12/10X12lb
3 sets SS seated calf-12X45lb//standing calf 12X100lb
15 min cardio challenge on ellip. My thighs were still burning from yesterdays workout, so I opted for a lower tension but higher RPM...managed 300cals in 15min
Diet:
2 turkey muffins+ salsa (last 2, need to make more)
oatmeal + protien
small ww tortilla + spicy thai tuna (love this stuff!)+ red pepper and grape tomatoes
banana+almonds
Not sure about dinner yet
Plan to swim tonight, but we have a bit of a family crisis going on at the moment(father in law is currently undergoing heart surgery to replace a valve), so that may circumvent my plans.
I tell ya, I sure hope I see some real postive results next week, cause I am working my ass off-figuratively and hopefully literally!
