Thursday....here's a new one.....Hot Yoga!
As is typical for a Thursday, I began to hedge about going to the gym for my cardio. I think because it's near the end of the week and I now have fencing in the evening, I tend to lose my motivation to do cardio on Thursdays. Now, usually I'd call a friend and go out for lunch, but today, I decided to try 60min. of Moksha Yoga, which is yoga done in a room of high humidity at about 38C (90+F). I literally had sweat pouring off me to the point where it was difficult to do some of the poses because I was too slippery. It was very cool though, pardon the pun, and worked my leg muscles far more than I thought it would. The club is close to work and runs every lunch hour, so I might have to make this my new Thursday workout. I think this will be great for my hip and shoulder problems.
I'm on Day 7 of my diet and things are going pretty well. Todays meals are as follows:
