Thurday...week 7...back/shoulders/abs/swim
Did the back/shoulder workout at the gym today. I chose not to do the calorie challenge today because I'll be swimming tonight and the back/shoulder work will have already tired out my swimming muscles, I'll at least save my legs for kicking!
Today's workout went as follows
4 min jog on treadmill
4 sets 12 narrow pull ups on asst machine all at 80lbs (so aprox 80lb pull)
3 sets cable row 60/70/80lb
4 sets BB press 12X45/10X55/10X60/8X65(PR!)
3 sets pec dec all 12X50lb (still feel these a tad in my left shoulder/neck-need to work on form)
3 sets wide push downs all 12X40lb on lat pull
3 sets incline DB press 12X15/10X20/10X20
finished with a variety of ab work
I'll be swimming tonight along with some dry land training.
It is a gorgeous day here today, sunny and reletively warm. It's supposed to be the same tomorrow so wme and a coworker are going to go for a long bike ride at lunch tomorrow (he's a triathelete!). Not sure when I'll do the wts, but I may go to the gym early in the morning. Looking forward to the upcoming weekend, one more day to slog it out!
