TGIF....Early morning wts and golf lesson

Got up early and went to the gym. Did a full body circuit routine.

4min on treadmill

3 sets in rotation:
15X HS press 36lbsb(chest)
20 leg lifts (abs)
15X wide lat pull downs (back)
15X lat raises-arms bent 5lb dbls (shoulders)
15 body squats with kick, hold for 15 at end of set (legs)

2min on ellip

3 sets in rotation
15X flat bench pec flies 10lb dbls (chest)
30X v-crunches on bench (abs)
15X seated cable row 60lbs (back)
12 lunges 10lb dbls (legs)

SS 3 sets
10X 30lb EZ bar bicep curls//12X SL DL's with same EZ bar

Stretch to cool down.

This was a good workout and it certainly got my heart rate up. Unfortunately I went out for a few pints after fencing last night so I wasn't in great shape for working out--got to work on that. I also noticed my right arm was a bit tender in areas as I was working out. When I looked at it I realized it was because I have several small bruises on my upper arm. I guess the fencing class was aggressive enough to leave me with battle wounds!

I have a golf lesson after work today..1st of a series of 5..hope it helps! 1 month to golf season...woohoo!

I am running tomorrow morning and then we're going on a ski trip for 3 days (unfortunately it is raining at the moment ); , but I'm sure we'll get some skiing in. So I won't be back until mid week next week. The break will be nice!
