Personal 30 day challenge. Day 1 of 30........
My hubby's going to be away on business on and off for the next 4 weeks, so I figure it's a great time to really focus on diet. My workouts seem to be going well, but I'll be introducing swimming and biking for my cardio in order to prep for a mid summer triathlon. My focus on diet will simply to eat clean 7 days a week with an emphasis on lean protien(primarily chicken,tuna,fish and eggs), healthy carbs(yams, br.rice, veggies,beans) and EFA's(olive oil,fish oil,nuts). I've begun to let some bad habits slip back into my lifestyle, so now's the time to nip it in the bud. Got to get prep'd for the summer and I want to reach a goal of breaking 150lb before my 43rd birthday in June. So....today is day one of 30 and my challenge will end April 19th. I will likely take a wee break after this and then start another 30 day challenge if this one goes well.
Workout(upper body)
5min ellip
3X12 pushups
3X12 wide lat pull downs (50/60/70)
3X12 HS bench (36/46/46)
3X12 SS bent arm lat raises//front raises//bicept curls (5lbs)
3X12 seated cable rows (50/60/70)
3X12 tri kickbacks (10lbs)
Nutrition:
Vitamin/3g fish oil/calcium
cc/berries/4pecans
gr apple/cheese string/almonds
rice/mahi-mahi/peas
protien supp(1/2 zone bar: 100cal,7gP,3gF,10C)
rice/mahi-mahi/asparagus/yam
Extra Activities:
1hr Pilates Class.
