Official Renewal of goals..... Week 1/10

Last week was a bit messed up, so this week I'm starting a new challenge with myself...this way I'll win regardless of the outcome (; Even with all the extra cardio I've done over the past 8 weeks, I've managed to pack on some extra padding. I know why, I've been eating everything in sight from french fries to cheesecake, never mind the extra beer and checken wings.....let's just say I've been bulking and now it's time to go back to the cutting phase!

So here's my plan for the next 10 weeks. Basically I'll stick to a 1400cal/day over the next 2 weeks and then re-assess and adjust accordingly. I am cutting out the crap and eating healthy. I'm giving myself 5 loonies at the beginning of each week (that's a dollar coin in Canada) I have to give up a loonie any time i eat or drink something I view is not healthy...aka beer/chocolate etc. I'll give myself a loonie for every lb lost or pay for every gain. I will always have the same 5 loonies, I just want to see how well I can keep my "float". It will also allow me the occational cheat-like a beer this evening to celebrate my hubby's birthday. i just thought this might help keep me focussed on diet.

As usual, exercise will not be an issue.

I'm looking to drop about 20lbs, so i figure I'll be at this for at least 10weeks....that puts me at the end of November. Therefore my ultimate goal is to weigh 145lb by Christmas! I'm going on a cruise mid January so I'll use that as motivation.

Now....my workout for today went as follows:

5min light run on treadmill
walking lunges
Smith squats 15X25/12X75/12x95lb
DL's 12X45/12X65/12X65
hammer bench 12X36/10X56/8X56
cable rows 12X50/12X60/12X60
asst pullups 12X70/12X70/10X70
crunches on stability ball

I felt like I haven't been doing wts for a while...well duh...but it was good to get back to the gym! I even got to brag about my triathlon to some of the trainers (:
