Monday....wts and pilates
Went to the gym for a full body workout. Hubby was a no show, so I just winged it on my own.
3min wu on ellip
walking lunges(no pause between steps) with body bar, alternating legs. set 1: bar on shoulders //set 2: torso twist//set 3: bar on chest and lift with lunge.
Dead lifts: 12X45/12X50/12X50/10X65 (1st time I've added wts to the bar--think i can handle more weight)
Bent over dumbell rows(single arm) 3 sets of 12X20lbs
Assisted pull ups: 8X50/5X40/3X30 (~105/115/125lbs)
BB flat bench press: 4 sets 10X45lb(bar only) Next week I'll start adding some plates to the bar.
Some golf drills with body bar
stretch to cool down.
Enjoyed the workout. My left shoulder is a bit sore, but it is more likely due to my gardening yesterday.
I have pilates this evening so I didn't bother with ab work at the gym.
I have a few commitments of the lunch hours this week, so getting to the gym will be a challenge. But I'll figure something out.
