Monday....felt like crap, but went to the gym anyway.....
I came down with a nasty cold over the weekend and am still not feeling 100%. i decided to go drug free today and so far I'm not doing too badly. I wasn't going to work out, but the obsessive side of me decided I should go to the gym anyway. i do feel better having gone. I did finally by a workout log book...actually an accounting book, but the ruled lines work well for workouts. of course I forgot to bring it!! Soooo, if I remember correctly this is what i did
Focus on upper body (I'll do leg work at pilates this evening)
5min on ellip
4X 12/10/8/8 push-up--head looking forward(makes a huge difference)
HS flat bench press 10X36lb/8X46/6X56/4.5X66
seated cable row 10X60/10X70/8X80/8X90
asst pull ups 10X80/10X70/8X60/6X50
DB flat bench pec flies 10X10lbs/10X10lbs/8X15lbs/8X15lbs
Tri kick backs (sngl arm) 3 sets 10X15lb
HS incline seated press 12X36/10X86/8X96/4X96 (I'm not positive that with no plates I am pressing 36lb..just assuming it's the same as the flat bench)
EZ bar bicept curls: 3 sets 10X30lbs
stretch to cool down.
I'm tired, but don't feel to bad. My arms kind of feel like jello though.
Nutrition:
eggs/salsa
oatmeal
salad/chicken/feta
oatmeal
left over salmon after pilates.
