Monday.....back to the gym and pilates
What a crappy weekend it was here! I managed to get my run in on Saturday, in drizzly rain. Then spend the day wandering around the Science Centre for my daughters BD party. We commited to doing a 5km walk to raise money for MS, on Sunday and it was pouring rain. Much to my surprise all of my daughters friends, who slept over, wanted to join me...there were 6 of them! So off we went in the pouring rain and it was only about 8C outside....yuck....but it was all for a good cause!! We were all soaked and cold by the end, but everyone had fun. My cousin's wife has MS and she managed about 1/2 the walk...She's 32 with 4 year old twins....sure puts things in perspective...
Today I went to the gym for a full body weight workout.
4min on ellip (surprised to meet my hubby on the ellip...he hasn't been to the gym in about 3 weeks)
3X12 pushups, last 2 sets with feet on step
Smith squats: 15X25(wu with bar only) 12X75/12X95/12X115
ast. pullups: 12X80/10X70/8X60/4X50 (50...woohoo..I'll be at 0 before the end of the year!!)
SL Dl's 12X45(bar) 12X65/12X85/8X95
HS flat bench press: 12X36/12X46/12X46/12X46
2X12 back extentions
stretch to cool down
Seems like a short workout, but it still took me 50min...must be slowing down (it's monday)
