Made it thru the weekend...woohoo!!!
Ah, it's Sunday night and I'm feelin pretty damn good about making thru the weekend unscathed. I couldn't get my workouts in on Saturday, so took that as my rest day. This morning I joined my swim club for a very intensive 1hr swim workout and then at 6pm headed to the gym to get in my abs/leg day in with the wts. We swam about 2200m in the pool and here's how my workout went at the gym:
3X20 eah in rotation: crunches/oblique/leg lifts
4X12 BB Squats 45lb/95lb/115lb/115lb (good to be back in the cage)
3X12 leg press 90lb/140lb/190lb
4X12 leg ext 50/55/60/65lb
4X12 leg curls 50/55/60/60
3X SS seated calf//calf raises 25lb // 40/60/80lb
Felt very strong in the legs today.
Weekend Diet:
We ate out a couple of times and I went for shrimp/salad dish one day and a cob salad the other. Eggs for breakfast and tonights dinner was asahi tuna/brown rice and some edamane peas. The biggest problem was getting all my meals and drinking enough water. I did manage one protien drink both on sat and sunday.
I'm very pleased with how I managed and am looking forward to week 2!
