I'm Starting

So, I just found out that I'm presenting at a history conference in two months.  I'm about 100 lbs overweight, I've lost a lot of weight already, but then I moved into a dorm.  I know in two months, I'll still be overweight, but I want to do what I can to look my best at the conference.  Ideally, when I see my boss at camp again, she'll have a problem recognizing me like she did the last time I dropped a bunch of weight.

Right now, I'm at 270.  By the conference, I'd like to be closer to 240.  I have a membership to the university gym, but I'm secretary of four organizations and getting over there is hard sometimes.  I know it's the wrong mindset.  Maybe the conference is just what I needed to get me remotivated.

If you have a hard time getting to the gym maybe you could get some workout DVD's and workout at home. Collagevideo.com is a good place to get workout DVDs. I workout at home because I cannot afford the gym right now. I like working out at the gym because the atmosphere is so energized there. However, working out at home is so convenient.
