I'm Back....for a couple of days anyways....
I got back from tobago last Friday and it was an incredible vacation. the snorkeling was amazing and the island was so lush compared to others I've been too. I'd go back there in a second! My exercise consisted only of swimming/snorkeling and a bit of walking. I ate and drank way too much!
I went for a 6km run on the Sat after I returned, which was pretty impressive considering I took my daughter to a drive in and didn't get home until 3am and then ran at 8:30am! It was also hotter than hell here that morning. But I survived better than I thought I would!
I went back to the gym after my week and 1/2 hiatus. Here's what i did:
5min jog on treadmill
3 sets walking lunges with body bar including lifts and twists
3 sets assisted pullups 10X70lbs (translates to ~90lbs)
3 sets BB press 12X45/10X50/8X55
3 sets cable rows 12X60/10X70/10X80
3 sets cable cross overs-single arm 10X60/10X70/10X80 (a trainer was kind enough to correct my form)
3 sets SL DL/s 12X45/10X65/8X95lbs
stretch to cool down.
Felt good to get back to the gym, but I think I'll be sore tomorrow. I hope to get some cardio in tomorrow and then I'm on vacation again for the rest of the week.
Next week I get serious with workouts and diet...but for now...screw it (;
