Last night was the inevitable Christmas party for the office. A pretty good time was had by all. I managed to hold myself to one beer and two glasses of wine, then one more beer when I got home. Dinner consisted of turkey, stuffing, gravy, scalloped potatoes, salad and of course, dessert. Pumkin pie. One cannot go wrong with pumpkin pie. Oh, and a butter tart, which I learned last night is Canadian and were typically unknown throughout the rest of the planet. I thought the whole world knew what these were. They are about the only thing I eat that has raisins in them. Not a fan of raisins.

It seemed I surprised a few people with what I was doing; eating. I heard one of the guys say 'he does eat!' I promptly informed I eat all the time... constantly. My wife agreed saying 'he eats all the time.' Turns out this guy only ever sees me eat cottage cheese and drink water. He works in the morning and is gone around noon or so, and never really sees me eat anything else. I do eat other things while he's around, guess he just never sees me eating the other stuff.

Kinda weird how people can perceive others. Apparently, by some, I am viewed as a fitness nut. Guess there are worse things to be viewed as!
