Friday...oh oh...here's where the challenge really begins!

I'm am pretty much a saint from Mon-Thurs and then Friday hits and everything goes to pot. I don't make the kids lunches of Fridays, which is a big deal as it gives me a bit of a break. So I tend not to make my own lunch. This morning all there was left was Turkey and I just couldn't face it again. So i didn't bring a lunch. Not a big problem, I picked up a ww/turkey/spinach/cheese wrap at the gym. Cheese not exactly lite, but not to bad. The problem is I was starving because I didn't have anything for mid morning snack. And, I'm still starving! I'll wait until 3pm and have some oatmeal. Lesson learned...have a protien supply at work (will bring it on Monday) and at least pack some healthy snacks like nuts or veggies. I have a fridge at work so no excuses!

The weekends are tough because I don't have the routine of being at work. But i will do my best to eat regularily and make healthy choices and continue to drink water!

Workout:
crunches/obliques/leg lifts 3X20 in rotation
SS incline presses(4 sets)//incline flies (3 sets) 8lbs dbls
3X12 shoulder presses using bodybar
3X12 pec dec 45lbs
3X10 bench press BB(45lb)
3X12 lat raises
3X12 tri kickbacks 12lb
3X12 Tri pushdowns 40lb

15 min on ellip hills program

I am worried about the weekend. Our typical routine is for me and my hubby to go out when I get home from work and go to our neighborhood pub for a few pints of Guinness. It's a really nice way to destress and enjoy each others company along with some of our neighbors. Soooo what I'm going to do is not say anything about not drinking this weekend and just go with the flow and if we do go to the pub, I'll just order soda water. I'll just keep reminding myself that if KC can become a non-smoker in 1 day, certainly i can get through a weekend without alcohol! Wish me Luck!!

lessons learned this week:
--If I have water available in a bottle on my desk I'll drink it regularily (averaged 3L/day)
--Need to bring my protein mix to work...in bulk
--make sure to have lots of food available for lunch and dinner-a variety of food (Turkey got pretty lame after a while)
--Cook enough rice, yams and squash to last 7 days at least!
--I'm getting the wts in no problem, but cardio is harder to fit in. I'm currently swimming 2X/week and only did 2 15 min sessions of extra cardio. I'll work on that next week. i think I could do cardio at lunch on Wed and then wts after work.

TGIF....I think.....
