Friday...excessively busy at work, but managed a later workout
I ended up working thru lunch so didn't get a break to workout until 2pm. I was going come hell or high water because I needed the break from work. Note to self...don't let people know you're about to go on vacation, it just puts them into a panic and they start to pile work on you!!
Anyhoo, I made it a short but effective workout...
4min run on treadmill -6mph-could have kept this up for a half hour just to burn of my frustration!
SS flat bench press (55lb) and seated cable row (70lbs) 4 sets of 10 reps.
SS SL DL's (95lbs) and lat pull downs 4 sets of 10 reps
Then I tried something new and I don't know what to call them. I figured it would be good for my golf swing since the move mimicks the movement. Basically I used a high cable pully and pulled it down while twisting my torso, like a golf swing. I did 3 sets each side with increasing wt ( i think I did 40/50/60lb...but not sure)
Stretch to cool down , then back to work for more craziness! TGIF and a long weekend as well!
