Fri night / Sat / Sun --Very proud of Myself.....Monday-No Gym
Well I've made it thru a weekend and I'm very proud of myself! I had planned on having 2 beer on Friday night, knowing we were meeting someone at the pub. We ended up going out for dinner before hand and I had salad/chicken with balsamic viniger and diet coke, while my hubby had beer! We were meeting my cousin which I haven't seen in some time, so I did have more than planned-3 and 1/2 beer, but not bad. I nursed the first one so long it got warm! Then, the rest of the weekend I had none!! I often blame my husband for my excess drinking because he always wants to go to the pub, but I've finally realized I don't have to drink while I'm out to enjoy myself. So I'll have the occational beer, but will also have the occational diet coke or soda water. I still get to socialize, but without the empty calories!
My eating was good as well. I didn't track what I ate, but I kept to mainly protien and complex carbs. The only "treat" I had was a muffin that my daughter I and made-which were quite healthy! Sunday dinner was seared Tuna steak, squash and wild rice--yummy!!
For exercise I did my 6km run on Sat and then did Hot Yoga for 90min on Sunday!
Monday: Not sure I'll be able to go to the gym today due to a lunch meeting. However, I have Pilates this evening and may go swimming.
