Finished 8 week Challenge--onto next challenge!

I'm happy with my success as far as workouts go for my 8 week challenge...not as happy with my weight loss. I am more "toned" so I will just keep plugging away. Diet is key!!

Today was my last PT session. I had him make sure my BB squats were good as well as bench presses. He confirmed that my form was very good...so no excuse not to up the weights. We did a circuit routine again, he feels these are the best for me for weight loss and definition. Full body, lot's of compound exercises. Basically doing legs/chest/abs/back 3 sets each and 3 circuits changing up the exercise. For example: squats/bench press/crunches/row--bike 2 min-- lunges/incl bench/abs/lat pull downs--bike 2 min--pec flies/pushups/abs/leg ext/leg curls.

I'm going to get a journal and take it to the gym so I can monitor my weights and try and keep my workouts consistant. I've been working out on my own 2 days/week, so it should be OK without the trainer, but I'll miss the variety once per week. I think I'll try 2 circuits/ week and one full body session, maybe strip reps.

All in all a good workout....now off to trick or treat!!
