Today's goal was to set a new PR in Deadlifts... well, slap my back silly... I did it! Woo-hoo!
Three minute warm up on mini-trampoline...
DL: 10x120lbs/10x150lbs/8x190lbs/6x240lbs... the last time I did these (January 5th, 2005) I did the last set of 4x250lbs... woo-hoo! Couple months training the rest of the back paid off! I also rested for about three minutes between sets. My heart rate after the last set was about 85%.
T-Bar Rows: 10x75lbs/8x95lbs/5x105lbs (these suffered I think from the DL)
One Arm DB Rows: 10x20lbs/10x30lbs/8x40lbs/6x50lbs
EZ Bar Curls: 10x25lbs/8x35lbs/6x40lbs/6x45lbs
Standing EZ Bar 21s: 3x25lbs... the last rep on the last set would have been funny to see... I'm sure my face was pretty screwed up trying to get past the sticking point.
Lying Side Leg Raises: 10/10
Ball Oblique Crunches: 10x10lbs/10x10lbs
I wonder, if not doing DL's since January and doing the other stuff (rows, etc) hampered any deadlift advantage I may have gained. It was nice to see the extra two reps!
