back to the gym and good eating again.....shoulder a mess....
I woke up at 3 in the morning with my left shoulder killing me. The only thing I can think that I've done to aggravate it is fencing, but I hold my foil in my right hand so dunno what's caused it. I guess it's possible that my wed workout has something to do with it or maybe its punishment for eating so badly yesterday ... I am prone to tendonitis in that shoulder, but this actually feels a bit different and I'm worried that it may effect my golf this afternoon....bummer....
Anyhoo....having said all this and the idiot that I am, I still went to the gym to workout. At least I focused on abs and some squats and pushups which surprisingly didn't hurt my shoulder--weird)
warmup and treadmill
3X10 pushups
10 DL's with body bar (trying these for the first time, I always do SLDL's)
3X10 DL's with 45lb barbell ATG (these are great, so I'll add some weight next week and throw these into the rotation)
Bunch of ab work. decline crunches, obliques, V's, leg lifts and roman chair leg lifts.
Then lots of stretching with focus on shoulder. It's still sore, but no worse that when I started. The advil will wear of soon, so we'll see then.
I'm running 6km tomorrow. golfing 18 holes today and will probably get in another round this weekend. it's a long weekend in Canada, so Happy May 2-4 to all the Canucks!
