Hi, I just found out that a neighbour of mine goes to play basketball every monday night at 8, and I've been invited to go along. I'm really interested in doing this.

The problem is that i work out my legs on monday's. I'm not too worried about being sore, I'm just worried if this cardio will affect my gains. I work out between 3 and 5 in the afternoon, and like i said they play ball at around 8.

I pretty much have to work out on mondays. Is it going to be ok to do this? Should i switch to another body part on that day, if so, what will be least affected? or, will playing be negative all round, and i should pass it up sticking to cardio on off days only.

Thanks a lot,
Take care

This should not affect anything. You may find, however, that it is hard to do all that running after doing legs...

oh ok, great. That's definately good to hear. I know I'm definately going to feel it when I'm playing, and I wont be at my best, but it'll still be fun.

Thanks a lot

I think jogging after legs helps me to stretch out the muscles so I am not as sore the next day.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain
