With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
I have been doing weight training from about 7 weeks now. I have noticed results to date in strength and physique. I am doing a 4 day split and usually doing a 5th day of whatever I felt was not a solid workout earilier in the week. I have been doing ZERO cardio. I am looking at loosing fat, but keeping my size/frame of about 210lbs. If i gain more i don't care as long as its lean. I have been taking an EC stack, with whey, creatine, glutamine and ZMA for supps i decided to take. (I used to work out so I knew the effects of what I am taking)
My main question is I want to start doing cardio, but I am affraid it will take away some or hinder future results. I enjoy mt. biking in the summer so being somewhat fit cardio wise is great, but I want to keep a bigger frame with less fat. What would be some ideal options for cardio for myself???
Since you enjoy mountain biking, try doing some HIIT on a stationary upright bike. starting with 3 min intervals.
Do these when you are not weight training.
