you need to lose weight everywhere to lose weight around your waist...
you need to do cardio training...4-5 days a week....by walking, jogging, running, sprinting....interval training etc....for 30-60 minutes each time....
cut calories.....eat less and and eat health...so NO JUNKFOOD....(no chips, pizza, fried foods, sodas, juices, etc....)...drink lots of water...aim for gallon a day....
do full body free weights weight training....search this site for lots of helpful suggestions....
