I have become somewhat addicted to training. Thursdays and Sundays are my days off, however lately more and more I feel the need to do something these days! Is just doing some cardio the way to go for that? Or does my body really need the occasional all-out rest? Does anyone else have this problem, if it is indeed a problem? Plus today I ate a candy bar and feel like if I don't do something I'll gain 2 lbs from that. is that wrong? I seriously never eat junk food like that....

I think most people have at least one day off a week, your body needs recovery time to make the most of your workouts. The occasional slip with your diet won't kill you and it is better to forget it and move on rather than punishing yourself by overtraining or starving yourself.

Heya Kaiaw
If you feel like you want to do it, then by all means do it. Your body will tell you when you need a rest, its not like your training for hours a day what your doing is fine for everyday exercise. Your getting awesome results keep it up. And dont knock yourself out over a candy bad but the next time you reach for one, remember how eating that last one maybe you feel and maybe you'll choose a healthier snack.

I think it's important to rest. Although, why don't you go to the gym if you want to, but take it easy. Or go do something fun like volleyball or swimming etc. You still get some exercise, but something different and maybe not as intense.
If every chocolate bar added 2 lbs, I'd hate to think how much I'd way right now!

I ended up going to the gym after all, but I took it fairly easy. I'm glad I went though- felt really good- and I weighed myself and I was actually down 2 lbs... maybe chocolate is the key to success??? haha. NOT!
