I have a mild case of it. Well...I have some symptoms. Difficulty swallowing, mild fever/headaches and swollen lymph glands (1 side).
I am taking medication for it. But I don't know whether it would be ok to workout still. I know when your sick it's better to rest and avoid physical activity but I also know that there are exemptions.
I'm on my 6th wk of the special mass prgm. And coming along well and I would hate to skip a w/o but it really sucks to be sick and not being able to swallow food or drinks without slight pain.
The usual advice is if you're sick from the neck up you can exercise (so sore throats, colds etc are ok) but if you're sick below the neck (eg chest infection) best not to train.
That said, if you have a fever as well, I think you should wait until your temperature settles.
