Hi guys! I have a couple of questions to ask you guys. You see I'm a thin guy and I'm trying to gain weight. I actually started going to the gym but My friends told me that I should just forget about the gym at this point and focus on eating to gain fats/weight so that going to the gym would be more beneficial. Is it true?

I kinda restricted myself in eating rice and just eat wheat bread for my carbo and my friends again told me that I should just eat more and don't choose your food at this time. What do you think I should do?

You do have to eat alot. That was my problem for the first couple of months weight-lifting and that is why I didnt see much results. But unless you want to get fat, I would eat alot of protein instead of carbs alone or whatever you want. If you look at your nutritional guide on this site, they tell you approximitely what you should have as far as protein amount, carb amount, fat amount, etc. Definitely do not forget the gym...otherwise you will just get fat. Good luck man, I'm still working on gaining more weight...So I'm with ya!
