Okay, so I've been keeping track of it lately, and I think I consume more than 2400 mg per day (the recommended amount). I've heard that excess sodium can lead to calcium loss... Is there any way to reverse this? Will drinking plenty of water help?

Where are you getting all that sodium from? Drinking water will help flush it out, but I would try and cut back on the amount of sodium. As you may already know, sodium makes us retain water, and is not a healthy ingredient.

As a former vegetarian I use to eat a lot of fermented foods...I found those to have a large amount of sodium. Do you eat a lot of packaged foods?

excess sodium? Its just a hard thing to avoid.
Everything has it in it, I was just looking at a bag of cheetos, 1 serving is 15%.
I know a lot of tomatoe products and soups are extremly high too.
