OK all. I want to post my general eating habits/workout regime and see what you all have to say...maybe you can help me out. I work out 6 days a week. Here is an example of my schedule:
Monday: shoulders, tricepts
Tuesday: back, biceps, 30 minutes cardio
Wednesday: legs
Thursday: 45 minutes cardio (mixture of biking, running, rowing, and elliptical)
Friday: shoulders, back
Saturday: legs, 30 minutes cardio
I also include a 15 or 20 minute ab workout everyday. I have been doing this since December. My stomach is noticably tighter with the streamlined definition- my legs and arms are toning up as well. However, I had not lost a single pound and my pants sometimes even feel a smidge tighter than they did. I am 5'5 and 130 pounds (18 yo)
I know you will try to repremend my eating habits...i generally eat around 1000 calories a day...I honestly feel that if I eat anymore I DO gain weight. I eat salads, vegetables, lean meats, and fruits. I only drink water (and coffee) and do not drink alcohol. What do I need to do to lose 5 pounds?! I am so confused...becasue everything I have read says I should be eating 1,700 or so calories...and I feel that I will most defintitely GAIN if I eat that much....any help is appreciateD!!

Looks pretty good. I would replace Fridays workout with chest in place of shoulders/back.

And as far as the food goes you really need to try and get 5-7 small meals in per day. You should be eating a min. of 1500cals per day (at roughly 12cal per lb of bodyweight) I personally would try to make sure I was getting atleast 130g of protein per day too.

Goodluck
