Right....thought I would sign myself up on here for some advice/guidance and determination!
I currently train in Kickboxing, Muay Thai and have my first fight in May 2012! I am looking to go through a practice (cutting weight) for Christmas (ideal time during the tempations and an excuse to look good for the party season!)
Today I weigh in at 165 lbs....am 6ft tall and want to cut to 140lbs by Christmas. Yes some of you out there may think this is a lot of weight but thats what fighters do! and with a strict diet and training hard...it CAN be done!
So....I am pretty clued up with the excercise side of things...but really suck at the diet side of things....Yes I eat healthy...the right kind of foods...but I eat irregular....and not enough (beleive it or not) I have heard that eating every 3 hours...of (?) and portion size...i need to know! When is best to eat Protein? what supplemnets should I stock up on (money being tight too)...Protein and Creatine?
