Anyone here read the book scrawny to brawny? I just got my copy and will start reading it tonight. It is supposed to be directed toward people with the body type that makes it hard for you to gain muscle. I seem to fall into this catagory. Just wondering if anyone has read or followed what was in the book.

hardgainers....no matter what they say....eat too little....I have yet to hear a hardgainer say I eat 5-8 meals/snacks a day and barely maintain my 120 lb....it's always like....'oh i eat 3 meals'...one of which is a nonexistant breakfast or small or no lunch....hardgainers problem is not genetics...it's poor nutrition....

Here are some of the things you’ll learn:

The differences between skinny guys and non-skinny guys, and why understanding them will determine whether you succeed or fail in the gym
What, how and how much skinny guys must eat in order to build muscle
The five key supplements that will both help you gain muscle AND keep you healthy long term
What exercises you need to be doing in the gym, and how to alter them to suit your body
What set/rep schemes work best for skinny guys
What to do outside of the gym to get growing, even when you’re not lifting
How to perform a complete biomechanical self-analysis, and use what you learn from it to stay healthy and lift heavy
And much more . . .
'

looks like you wasted your money...could have gotten all this info for free here....

Igot the book cheap so no big loss. I do eat 6 meals a day about 2300 cals total. I do only weigh 125 lbs and I am on weak 4 of a 4 day split routine from freetrainers. Each workout is about 30 to 40 minutes long and I am sore the next day but it is hard for me to gain weight. Anyway thanks for the info.

2300 calories?....boost it another 500-700 calories....using healthy whole foods sources....seriously try to aim for 3000 daily calories...if you overshoot....it's a benefit in your case...combined with weight training, most of it will be muscle...
