I started using my tredmill on Sunday. On Sunday I ran a mile and a half and yesterday I ran 2.3 miles. I'm not sure if I'm doing enough cardio to loose some extra pounds. I also swim laps for an hour and half on Tuesday and Thursdays. If i eat healthy will this workout help me loose? Cause from what I've heard.... cardio is the best thing for loosing weight.
Recently I ran between 2-6 miles a day upping the length each time I ran and did cardio 4 times a week and ate a clean diet and lost about 5-6 pounds in a about a week.
However losing weight isnt always what a person is always trying to reach. While most people think losing weight will get them that toned and defined (lean look) it most certainly will not, You will need to incorporate some weightlifting into that regimen if you want a toned and defined look as well.
