I would go for 1750 calories based on your present weight with 12 calories per pound, and wanting to lose. One thing I came to realize when I was losing, that I was consuming a lot of fructose, glucose, syrups and additives that ended with the suffix "ose" all are sugars that turn to fat. After checking labels I reduced another 8 pounds. Check it out and you maybe surprised.

Im at a loss about something. I am 5'5.5" and weigh 146 lbs. Starting weight was 160 a month and a half ago (there about) and so far have gotten to 146. My weight goal is 135 lbs. Dont want to lose any more than that or I look too thin for my height and build

Anyway, so I used one of those BMR calculators and according to it, my BMR is 1398.2 @146 lbs

Ok, so according to FT program, I am supposed to take in these numbers

Cal: 1945
Carbs: 292
Proteins: 146
Fats: 23.8

BUT! I have read enough on here to know that those numbers, well, the calories and carbs anyway, are too high. So I took it on myself to lower the numbers to these

Cal: 1700
Carbs:200g
Proteins: 160g or above
fats:21g

Then, I found a post that was discussing how to handle the micronutrients when on the 12 week ab program. I read that one would do best lowering carbs by 30 to 50%.....lowering calories 20 to 30%.....increasing protein 20 to 30%...and doubling water intake ( for me thats going from 103oz to 206 oz?) So here is what Ive been doing since reading that info.....

Cal....1400 to 1500
Carbs: 149g
Protein: 193g or more
fats: 20 or lower but no lower than 18g

Ive also cut the salt from my diet and I buy low sodium foods because of the history of water retention

Now, I feel like I have come to a standstill at 146 lbs. My BMR for this weight is 1398.2....

Question is, If my BMR is 1398.2 and I am taking in 1400 to 1500 calories per day, what do I lower my calories to to continue losing? Im on a weight training program with FT and the 12 week abs program. Is the Protein, carbs and fats fine how they are and what would the suggested calories be at the stage Im in now? Leave them be? what?

I am eating the 1400 to 1500 because of the BMR being 1398 plus the extra 200 cal because I am weight training and doing the 12 week abs program. Surely I am burning all of it and then some just with the two programs plus whatever cal I burn doing housework, yard work, all the delicious sex, and just the every day hustle bustle outside of the BMR. I guess I just cant see the forest for the tress

Any help would be mucho appreciated........
