Hey Everyone!!! I'm always interested in seeing where other veggies get their protein from.
I am currently eating a lot of lentils and chickpeas. They're probably my favourite sources of protein.
Breakfast protein is usually from Vega Vanilla Chai protein shake mix, made with almond milk.
Hope everyone is having a peaceful day, it's bright and sunny today here in Ontario! :)

Hi Mel!
Thanks for the group :)
I load up on all the nuts (love them yum!) and top my yogurts with hemp and chia seeds. I've just discovered dark chocolate covered inchi seeds!!
I'm not completely vegetarian (pretty close tho), but I thought I chirp in with my favourite sources of protein anyway :P

That's great... I too eat a few nuts... but maybe will up my intake a little bit.
Just joined a new gym here in London and am looking forward to working out there again.

Greek yogurt (plain and organic - no surgar added!) is a great source too!

Ya. ... I'm not to have dairy actually... and I was hoping that yogurt wouldn't upset my stomach but it doesn't seem to agree with me either.
My diet is extremely limited... yuk!

Quinoa is a great source of protein and one of the few sources that is a complete source of protein - provides all 9 essential amino acids. I add coconut oil to mine! Yum yum :P
Hemp seeds are in my fridge too!

If you are a vegetarian, make sure to take enough protein. Lack of protein can lead to megaloblastic anemia or lack of vitamin B12.

One important thing to remember is plant based protein is more hearty than "meat" or dairy based proteins. Think about it; cattle rasied for food is feed vegetables/plants...
