I just read FT's artical about pre and post workout meals . I have never done that before. Are these counted in your 5-6 meals. I generaly get up a 5am to work out and if I have to eat 1hr before working out I'd have to get up a 4am. I need more info.

5am,man thats an early workout! I guess the good thing about that is you burn more fat cells...just make sure you have some carbs and protein after your workout.Staight after mine i have a serving of cell-tech creatine then about an hour later i have a protein meal shake. And yes, include it as one of your six meals.

I usually exercise 2-3 hour after my lunch (so that I don't feel too heavy) and right after my weight training I drink a shake made of Amino (protein) mainly. This count as my "snack" of the afternoon. Within 1.5hour max. I have a light dinner. But with your early schedule, you would need to stick to a 6 meals per day diet.
