I'm hungry after a workout. I carry protien bars with me but last night I ran out so I had a banana to hold me until dinner. It hit the spot.

ARE YOU SUPPLEMENTING CREATINE/GLUTAMINE POST-WORKOUT? RUMOR HAS IT THAT YOU CAN DELAY THE BCAA'S POST-WORKOUT IF YOU TAKE GLUTLAMINE AFTER WORKOUTS. USUALLY I HAVE ONE QUART CARB DRINK FOR FIRST HOUR AFTER ALONG WITH CREATINE/GLUTAMINE TO BE FOLLOWED BY HIGH PROTEIN MEAL APPROX 1 HR AFTER THAT.

You should try to eat some carbs and protein within an hour after you workout, to replace what you lost during your workout.
