alrighty, to the point, my right tricep is stronger than my left but yet my left is bigger than my right. someone told me this might be because i might have overtrained my right which caused to reduce in size but still get stronger. whats the facts on this?

If you have been using a balanced workout, i.e. working both arms basically the same, I would say that overtraining is not necessarily the cause. It could be a variety of factors. First, you may feel stronger in one arm because you are more coordinated. It could be the opposite. If you are not coordinated, you may not be using good form and although you can handle more weight, you are not making the gains you hope for. Fix this by using strict form on both arms. Another factor could be genetics. For this, there is no answer. Another factor could be endurance. When you say weaker, do you mean you can't handle the same weight, or you just can't maintain the intensity? Your right arm may be more efficient than your left. This kind of goes back to the coordination factor above. To even things out, I would use exercises that require both arms to work in concert. This allows you to continue to train the strong arm, while pushing the weak arm to catch up. This should fix the size factor as well. I would caution against training one arm more than the other. This in fact could lead to overtraining. Stick with the basics like tricep pushdowns, dips, skull crushers or dumbbell french presses. I think you will find that your problem is fairly common. People here often raise the issue of one arm being larger than the other. However, I don't think anyone has said, my left pec is larger than my right. Why? I would argue it is because the primary chest exercise make the pecs work in concert. Hope this helps and good luck.

my triceps are seriously wacked. when at idle my left is bigger but once i flex my right becomes larger. it feels as if my left is a lot thicker than my right. also my left tricep cant maintain the same intensity as my right by maybe 2 or 3 reps.
