During the olympics none of the wrestlers threw a tantrum, fought with the umpire or each other outside the ring, or drove into the arena on a motorbike with a scantily clad female on the back. So is this a different sport from WWF?

princesslodgey Posts: 1,748 Joined: 2004/02/21	2004/08/31, 06:41 AM I didn't see it but I understand that near the end a guy came on to the marathon route and distracted the brazilian runner who was clearly in the lead, and ended up coming third. I am going to retract my poke in the eye, spit in the face and kick in the crotch as it seems that the man involved is not very well at all, and felt compelled to do this by one of his delusions. Mental illness is a tragic thing to happen to anyone and if this story is true, he has only my sympathy. -------------- Desperate in Scotland
Pritchard Posts: 1,212 Joined: 2004/03/02	2004/08/31, 06:47 AM this brazilian runner was 40 seconds ahead of the rest of the runners, and a few miles from the end, then this stupid irish vicar in a cilt (yes, thats what i said) ran across the road and pushed the runner into the crowd and stopped him from running long enough for him to come in third, when he was virtually guarenteed a gold. however i would like to congratulate the runner because he was very civil about it. -------------- guns dont kill people, rappers do call the police, woo woo woo. stay dumb, you know it makes no sense.
