After being a member for a couple of weeks I've finally decided to take the calorie plunge and attempt to eat the 3000 calories I need to effectively build muscle.

After day 1, here is my intake.

4:30a.m. wake-up. 2 Cups milk ? pre joging. 180 calories, 26 carbs, 0 fat and 16g protein.

5:30a.m. breakfast. cinnamon oatmeal. 160 calories, 3g fat, 29g carbs, 7g protein.

9:15a.m. snack. Protein bar. 210 calories, 7g fat, 21 carbs and 16g protein.

11:50 lunch. 1 chicken breast. 180 calories, 4.5g fat, 0 carbs and 35g(??) protein <<<according to package.....1.5 cup mix veggies (broccoli, small corn cobs, carrots) 75 calories, 3g fat, 9g carbs, 3g protein.

3:00 snack. 2 cups milk 1/4 cup peanuts(salted) 160 calories, 13g fat, 6g carbs, 6g protein.

6:15 pre workout. 1 protein bar 210 calories, 7g fat, 21g carbs, 16g protein.

7:45 supper. 1 chicken breast, 2 cups mixed veggies. 2 cups milk. 1 hardboiled egg.

Total for the day(so far) 2023 calories, 48g fat, 212g carbs, 179g protein. 64 oz. of water.:dumbbell: It still seems like a lot, but I'm still hungry. Maybe I should include some rice tomorrow. Any suggestions?
