A friend of mine had both of them done. When he worked out he used to take them out. Needless to say they BOTH got infected and his nipples look deformed and very very weird. I would suggest not to.

I have a belly ring... it has been nothing but trouble really... it took like a year to heal up and then if I change rings it sometimes gets infected again. I have also noticed that it has moved from where it was origninally peorces (you can see light scaring) I know it was a reputable establishment where I had it done but it has been a big headache. I don't know anything about nipple peircings but i am sure that they are apt to similar problems.

I have a belly ring also, I love it...I have not had any problems with mine. I clean my piercing everyday with Hydrogen Peroxide and put an antibiotic ointment on it. When I workout though I cover it with a gauze padding. It helps to pad the piercing itself and keeps it from ripping or moving like in houseofdiet's case.

Nipples are a dangerous place to put a ring if you're planning to lift. I know someone whose nipple ring was ripped out, and now has a split nipple. Also, piercings like navels and nipples grow out after a few years. I'm not anti-piercing, I actually have 11. Just to let you know, no piercing should ever be cleaned with peroxide-it dries out the wound and slows down healing, and ointments of any kind are a no-no because they are oil based and do not allow oxygen into the piercing, slowing down healing, as well, your body comes to rely on the antibiotics and stops trying to heal the wound itself. Let me know if you have any other questions.

yeah, eyebrow bars grow out in most people. It happens when the tissue behind the piercing heals faster than the tissue in front of the piercing.
