Hey everyone!
Like most people I'm looking for some good old fashion moral support. I'm only 20 but self-motivation has gone down the toilet. I desperately want to be able to go to the beach next summer without fear of being criticized but, like I said, I just don't have the push. I was wondering if anyone had any simple pointers or exercises that don't require a gym pass? :o)

Exercising is really hard for me to stick to, so I will pace alot and fidget when I am watching TV. I just stand there and move my feet back and forth. Drives my husband crazy but oh well.
I also put little notes around the house. Many of them are personal quotes from this site. I have found them very helpful.
When I am about to eat, I stand in front of the mirror and grab my stomach. If I still feel like eating, I will eat in front of the mirror. Talk about being embarrassed with yourself!

I like the note idea!! That sounds like a great plan. I think I'll try that. I don't think I'm ready to eat in the mirror yet. I don't want to completey destroy my dwindling self-esteem..hehe Thanks for the ideas!!

Don't lose hope girls. The first step in reaching your weight loss goals is the desire to do so. Many people fail in this simply because they are too emberassed to ask for help and advice. I admire the courage you both have, but remember, there is no miracle, quick fix. Good eating habits, exercise, rest, and good nutritional supplements combined are the key. I lost 30 pounds earlier this year when I approached it this way instead of with fad diets. God Bless you both. I know you will find success as I did.
