hi ppl
i have hipertension as high as 160/110 sometimes
i noticed it from last 2 months . before it was around 140/90 but not its hi .previously i did not take any medication just regulated my diet and exercise,
now i had consulted a doc. and he says i have tu take the medication ,tats ok with me , but he also advised tu stop weight training, i m working out since 3 yrs now and i m in lov with this sport ,
i know i have to du some cardiovascular exersise ,and i will ,
is it necessary tu stop the weight training or any regulation , i usually workout 5 days a week ,
also should i avoid creatine or any protien supplyments?
i have read in some books that in hipertension u should decrease ur protien intake.
i m in great confusion tu what tu du
please help.

I think I would get a second opinion. I am a diabetic, that had hypertension along with the diabetes, and after I started training and lost all the weight, no more meds here at all. Blood Pressure in under control and the sugars. Exercise and a good correct diet was the best thing that ever happened to me. My doctor is in amazement as to the accomplishements I have made. The first thing my doctor told me was to get out there and exercise and change my diet. Who is your doctor, cause I never want to be in his office!!!!!!

can u tell me ur schedule!
and did u use any supplyments at that time?
