Hello everyone! I'm a 21 yr old who needs to lose about 50 lbs. just to be back at my pre-pregnancy weight! I'm 5'4 and 188 lbs. right now, I've been holding on to these last 50 lbs. for about 2 yrs now.... I've tried every single yo-yo diet around and get fed up with them after about a week! I think that I just really need the support of other people! My husband is supportive, but he doesn't encourage me the way I need - he's also the type that could eat a cow for every meal and actually lose weight!

My metabolism is also very slow - any suggestions on speeding it up without any kind of supplement?? - I'm going to lose this weight the 'natural' way! My main reason for wanting to lose this weight is that my hubby and I are going to try for baby #2 and I don't want to keep adding to the weight that I'm currently at! Any encouragement or tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Forget about supplements to aid in losing weight. The natural way to weight loss is (as you have probably seen on here) healthy diet and exercise. You must stop consuming processed foods,eat healthy foods that YOU need to cook or eat raw, and add in a proper exercise program. These suggestions will guarantee you success. Forget about diets. As you have seen there are 100's of them and none of them work and that's why new "diets" are always coming out. A healthyier lifestyle will make life easier for you. Good Luck.

I'm trying to lose the same amount...starting a healthier way of eating and daily exercise. All of the encouragement u can get is helpful, start an alliance with someone else trying to lose weight and be each others' back bone. That's what I'm doing.:big_smile: Good luck. I know u can do it if u really want it. Remember: there's always some1 there 4 u who's going thru the same things. Just keep trying!!!
